OPONTISUN’S CAREER TREND
Segun Opontisun cut his teeth as a musician in the church from where he started singing at the age of 12. With a gospel artiste as a father, it was quite easy and seemed like a “square peg in a square hole” scenario as Segun took after his father’s musical passion.

HIS INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE
Not quite satisfied with his presence at the local music scene alone, he yearned to tread the path of fuji music legends such as Late Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, Alhaji Ayinla Kollongton, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, Alhaji Abass Akande Obesere Omorapala, and so on, therefore he took his music trade outside the shores of Nigeria to Cotonou in Benin Republic, South Africa and Dubai, while he also passed through Kenya.
